When I arrived today at LAX I was greeted by bodyguards and a limousine at the Executive Terminal. Unfortunately, both were not waiting for me. They were waiting for John Travolta.
It turned out that he had “parked” his historic Boing 707 there and was just about to leave for Brisbane. Travolta has close ties to the Australian airline Qantas and will be in Brisbane to attend their 90th anniversary.
Travolta’s plane was once operated by Qantas, back in 1964. It changed hands a couple of times; back in the Seventies, it belonged to Frank Sinatra.
